This Koh Kong isn’t your typical Oud Oil. Opening with a barely perceptible medicinal note, there’s no skank or barn. Kan Kong is smooth, woody and resinous, not overly sweet or fruity, the subtle tones are reminiscent of dried fruit like prune and a cherry pipe tobacco with a spicy tone.
As I type this I smell the oil on the back of my hand is projecting to my nose, there’s an incense and earth tone that along with the spice and cherry tobacco seem to dominate the long dry down.
